John Ciganek

John has more than 30 years in the resources sector across a range of roles including mining engineering, executive management, institutional banking, stockbroking and corporate finance.

John began his career as a Mining Engineer with Comalco / CRA (Rio Tinto) before moving to Reynolds Yilgarn Gold, Byrnecut Mining and Hargraves Resources. John subsequently joined Commonwealth Bank as Senior Bank Engineer responsible for technical due diligence (across a range of sectors including resources, energy and infrastructure), before moving to the role of Risk Executive responsible for the management of existing debt facilities and new corporate and project debt financings.

Prior to establishing Euclase, John was an Executive Director with BurnVoir Corporate Finance. John’s experience extends to debt financings including project and corporate financings, project bond issuances, convertible notes, working capital facilities, hedging facilities, offtake funding and other senior and non-senior secured debt funding. In addition, John has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions, equity raisings and institutional research.

John holds a Bachelor of Mining Engineering from the University of Wollongong and Master of Business Administration from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management.
